Zackery Wallis
Grew up being around and training dogs especially high drive hunting dogs. He then served in the United States Marine Corps infantry during the Global War on Terror and served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Upon his return he developed PTSD and began working with a local organization out in California to train his first service dog a German Shepherd named Athena. After training his own dog he continued to train with other service members who also suffered from the same issues. After being medically retired from the USMC in 2014 training dogs has remained a passion ultimately leading to the decision to launch this business in 2024. He currently owns 2 dogs including his service dog Kimura a Cane Corso and a young Dutch Shepherd named Rampage.
Shelly Wallis
Wife of Zackery, she grew up in New York City and attended Nova Southeastern University. With a background in early childhood education and administrative work she is the company’s Chief Finance Officer and HR director. She has also done work for consulting firms, non-profit organizations and local rescues, showcasing her adaptability and ability to handle various roles. She has maintained a passion for working with children and the homeless.
Jace Kleffner
Born and raised in Colorado, she moved to South Carolina to play college volleyball at Winthrop University. After getting her degree in Art History, she moved to Texas and is now an elementary Special Education teacher. She lives her dream life with a house full of animals, including 4-year-old Millie the Labradoodle, 1-year-old Birdie the Goldendoodle, 1-year-old twin kitties, and some rodents.
Alyssa Carruth
Originally from Spring, TX, she moved to Virginia to pursue her collegiate volleyball career at Radford University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and unexpectedly had to move back home to Texas. Through trial and error, she has decided that she can no longer run away from her true passion: working with dogs. Although she is currently a 7th-grade teacher, she is working towards focusing entirely on dog training. She is mom to her 4 year old Labradoodle Millie and 1 year old Goldendoodle Birdie.
